Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin’s September 2023 ETH transactions totaling over $3.9 million were discovered by blockchain analysts. The co-founder of <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/ethereum-bears-are-gaining-momentum-heres-why/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a>, has made a splashy move in the midst of a volatile situation in the crypto market by putting a large sum (approx. $630k) of Ethereum into Coinbase recently. 
Buterin’s motives and strategy are called into doubt by this choice. The crypto market is even more intriguing due to recent transactions involving his ETH holdings. 
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-subject-of-suspicion">Subject of Suspicion</h3> 
One of the biggest names in the crypto industry, <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/altcoin-news-twitter-account-of-vitalik-buterin-hacked-to-promote-crypto-scam/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Vitalik Buterin</a>, has lately made some major moves with his own ETH holdings. Buterin’s activities have been the subject of suspicion at a time when the crypto market is struggling with uncertainty. 
Etherscan, a monitoring platform of the Ethereum blockchain for transactional data, reports that on Monday, Buterin transferred 400 ETH to <a href="http://coinbase.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase</a>, at a value of around $630k. Buterin’s recent pattern of crypto transfers, like this one, has piqued interest in his plans and methods. His wallet address has been in the news for many large ETH transactions during the last week. 
A total of 400 ETH were transferred to Coinbase from his wallet, and an additional 300 ETH were transferred to <a href="https://www.kraken.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Kraken</a>, yet another major cryptocurrency exchange in the latest move. In addition, some two hundred ether from his wallet were swapped for USDC stablecoin. 
Because of his status as an Ethereum co-founder, his actions may have an impact on the market and on investors’ trust. His opacity about his motivations, though, introduces some unpredictability.
