<h2 id="header-0">UK FCA expresses concern over crypto firms lack of participation</h2><p>The UK financial markets regulator and the Finance Conduct Authority (FCA) have again expressed concern over the lack of participation from crypto firms, which will soon be subject to new market rules. Along with this, FCA has also issued a warning that not following these rules can lead to serious consequences. The FCA said in a letter written on September 21 that it is giving a final warning to companies marketing crypto assets to <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/stolen-crypto-to-be-seized-bill-passed-in-uk-house-of-lords" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">UK</a> users. Despite the FCA&#39;s efforts to communicate and support compliance with the rules set out on 8 June, many foreign companies still remain liable. Therefore, FCA has extended the compliance deadline from 8 October to 8 January 2024. Due to non-compliance, criminal charges can be imposed on the firms and they can also be included in the warning list.</p>
