<p>El Salvador will be educating the young minds of Salvadoreans in the four corners of the classroom starting in 2024. This was revealed in a post by local Bitcoin mining startup Volcano Energy, which was then shared by American writer and producer Stacy Herbert.</p>

<p>This endeavor is spearheaded by El Salvador’s Ministry of Education in partnership with Primer Bitcoin, a non-government organization.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The goal of the partnership is to educate Salvadoreans, particularly public school students, about Bitcoin and its economic and technological impact for free. At the moment, at least 150 teachers are already undergoing training to prepare for this undertaking.</p> 
<p>This is just one of the many ways that El Salvador is educating its citizens about Bitcoin. Last month, Forbes reported that Salvadoreans have graduated from a Bitcoin-focused educational program named Cubo+. Herbert, also an economic advisor to El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, was also heavily involved in this program.</p> 
<p>Cubo+ invited Bitcoin developers and lecturers to teach the technical specifics of the chief cryptocurrency to students. Some well-known lecturers are Bitcoin developer Jimmy Song, former Bitcoin Core contributor Peter Todd, and Italian Bitcoin educator Giacomo Zucco.</p> 
<p>Under Bukele’s leadership, El Salvador continues to be one of the countries in the world that invest heavily in a Bitcoin economy. While Bitcoin is considered legal tender in El Salvador, a significant part of the country still hasn’t adopted Bitcoin, which may explain Bukele’s education efforts.</p>
