The inability to access discovery documents and work materials during his detention complicates his trial preparations, emphasizing the urgency of addressing these issues. 
What Next? 
As the legal proceedings unfold, Judge Kaplan has directed prosecutors to respond to the defense’s concerns by Tuesday, August 29. A virtual hearing on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. ET will delve into the discovery-related issues raised. Bankman-Fried’s trial, encompassing seven charges including wire fraud and conspiracy, is scheduled to commence in early October.&nbsp;
