Investors expect the world’s biggest retailer to keep growing and the WMT share price to rally. Investors weren’t satisfied with the recent earnings report, causing the drop.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Walmart reported a substantial revenue jump of 5.7% while the operating income gained 6.7%. Its e-commerce business gained 24% globally. The consolidated revenue comes at $161.6 Billion, hopping 5.7%. United States Comp Sales jumped by 6.4%, while Walmart International reported net sales of $27 Billion, recording a raise of 11%.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The company posted a same-store sales gain of 6.30%, which was expected at 4.04%. Foot traffic also jumped by 2.8%, and online sales ascended by 2.3%. Walmart’s wholesale business Sam’s Club Comp Sales, which is led by foods and consumables, reported a gain in membership income of 7%. In comparison, the reported earnings of $1.84 per share also beat the estimated value of $1.706 per share by 7.84%. Despite these positive earnings, WMT’s share price fell around 3.77%.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The revenue jumped 5.74% compared to the previous quarter, while EPS gained 3.95%. The subsequent earnings will be reported on November 16, 2023, where the revenue should be $158.783 Billion, while EPS could be around $1.501 per share.
