In July 2023, crypto-linked stocks like MicroStrategy, <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/cleanspark-udvaivaet-dobychu-bitkoinov-rasshiryaya-svoe-proizvodstvo-na-55-mln/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CleanSpark</a>, and <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/riot-platforms-povysit-effektivnost-s-pomoshhyu-sistem-pogruzhnogo-ohlazhdeniya-midas/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Riot</a> Platforms saw gains of 27.9%, 40%, and 56.7% respectively. Surprisingly, this happened as Bitcoin's token price slid 3.9%. 
<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/riot-platforms-povysit-effektivnost-s-pomoshhyu-sistem-pogruzhnogo-ohlazhdeniya-midas/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Riot</a> Platforms, focused on Bitcoin mining, scaled down production and resold energy in Texas. As a result, it made significant gains. Meanwhile, <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/cleanspark-udvaivaet-dobychu-bitkoinov-rasshiryaya-svoe-proizvodstvo-na-55-mln/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CleanSpark</a> ramped up mining, producing 491 coins in July. Consequently, it expanded its facilities. 
Unlike the miners, MicroStrategy bought 12,333 new Bitcoins in the second quarter. Therefore, they revealed a strong position with 152,800 tokens on its balance sheet. 
Furthermore, the rise in these stocks correlated with signs of economic life and slower-than-expected inflation. Thus, for debt-burdened businesses like CleanSpark, this is good news. 
Now, these companies stand as potential indicators of future trends in crypto and economy. Therefore, while Bitcoin's price changes were modest, its connection to broader financial trends may influence future investments.
