<p style="text-align: justify;">Another security issue has emerged in the crypto ecosystem. Coinlist, a pre-sale platform that offers newly launched cryptocurrencies for sale before they are listed on high-volume exchanges, had its Twitter account hacked. A fake post was made from the account, claiming that Coinlist was launching a new token. The post was viewed by thousands of users within half an hour.</p> 
<h2 style="text-align: justify;" id="coinlist-twitter-account-hacked">Coinlist Twitter Account Hacked</h2> 
<p style="text-align: justify;">Security issues in the crypto ecosystem have been on the rise in recent times. Attackers who have taken control of the official Twitter accounts of crypto companies have caused numerous investors to lose their assets by making fake pre-sale announcements for non-existent tokens. Another fake announcement has been added to these false posts made through compromised Twitter accounts.</p> 
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Twitter account of Coinlist, a pre-sale platform that offers newly launched cryptocurrencies for sale before they are listed on high-volume exchanges, has been compromised.</p> 
<h2 style="text-align: justify;" id="coinlist-warns-users-via-telegram">Coinlist Warns Users via Telegram</h2> 
<p style="text-align: justify;">The attackers who took control of Coinlist’s Twitter account made a fake post claiming that Coinlist was launching their own token called LIST, which does not actually exist. Although the post received thousands of views within minutes, the Coinlist team warned investors via Telegram.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">It was quickly realized that the post was fake and Coinlist’s Twitter account had been compromised. Coinlist, whose Twitter account was hacked, published a warning message via Telegram, stating:</p>

 <p style="text-align: justify;">“The CoinList Twitter account has been hacked. Please do not click on any links. We do not have a token to release to the market, nor do we have such a plan. We will inform you when the issue is resolved.”</p>
