As the company’s United States deliveries provide promising numbers, experts estimate a jump in revenue. However, the rising interest rates and looming inflation hold buyers back from spending more on new automobiles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The automaker is experiencing a hike in demand for many of its vehicles but cannot deliver the cars to the dealerships fast enough. This increases the waiting period and sways buyers away from the showrooms. General Motors is battling the logistic challenge following the COVID-19 pandemic.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The U.S. sales volume swelled nearly 19% and 691,978 vehicles were delivered, in 2023. While the demand remains robust. If the company can solve the logistical issues and improve its supply chain, the revenue can skyrocket which would provide a positive momentum for GM share price.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Considering the recent buzz around Electric Vehicles (EVs), General Motors has failed to leave a mark like the one it left with internal combustion vehicles. The sales for GMC Hummer EV and Cadillac Lyric could be better. In Q2 2023, they only sold 47 Hummers and 1,348 Lyrics. Insiders argue that this could be due to issues with Ultium batteries.&nbsp;</p>

Its previous close and open were at $38.75 and $38.74, respectively. The 52-week range is from $37.11 to $43.63, indicating that the current price is near the upper limits. With an average volume of 43.63 million shares, the market cap is $54.395 billion.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The trailing twelve-month (ttm) price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is 6.12, indicating a seriously undervalued stock price. At the same time, the (ttm) earnings per share (EPS) comes at $6.39. Analysts placed a price target at $50.00 with a 27.7% upside and provided a 2.59 rating for moderate buy.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>GM reported its last earnings on April 25, 2023, with a reported revenue of $39.985 billion, which exceeded the estimated $38.55 billion by 3.72%. At the same time, the reported earnings of $2.21 per share surpassed the expected value of $1.72 per share by 28.51%.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>The subsequent earnings will be reported on July 25, 2023, where earnings are estimated to be at $1.838 per share, and revenue is estimated to be $41.916 billion. The Earnings expected surprise prediction (ESP) to gain 9.37% as the estimated $1.811 per share is pegged nearly $0.15 higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Operating expenses grew by 15.65% to $2.46 billion, while the operating margin swelled by 7.49%. The net income fell by 18.51% to $2.40 billion, the net profit margin dropped by 26.68% to 5.99, and the profit margin hiked by 5.84%. Gross profit (ttm) is reported to be $21.15 billion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Although there has been a fall in the last few trading sessions, an upward-moving EMA hints at a trend reversal. The previous rally failed to cross the 52-week high but it seems that it may have a comeback soon. If it continues to drop, the price shall bounce off immediate support at $35.86 and consolidate below the supply zone.&nbsp;</p>

Furthermore, a bullish momentum shall be visible if the price crosses and stabilizes over the supply zone. However, a stooping RSI at 58.52 hints that the price might drop tol the EMA currently at $37.11.</p>
