In the latest development, developers of the Xumm wallet announced the integration of the decentralized crypto exchange SimpleSwap in the form of xApp into its platform. This will make the transition of the Xumm wallet to the XRP Ledger more accessible and intuitive for everyone. 
As of now, SimpleSwap supports over 1000 cryptocurrencies along with several fiat currencies. It prides itself on being a user-friendly platform along with being a reliable service for crypto buying, selling, and swapping. XRPL Labs has integrated SimpleSwap into Xumm to make the Xumm platform even better.

This integration allows users to easily swap different cryptocurrencies from various networks into XRP, providing a smooth and seamless experience. By integrating SimpleSwap as a xApp, they have simplified the onboarding process. Users can now effortlessly convert assets from various blockchain networks like Polygon, Ethereum, Cardano, and more into XRP. This makes it easier for everyone to transition to the XRPL ecosystem and enhances the overall accessibility and user-friendliness of the platform. 
Currently, the SimpleSwap integration supports only inbound transfers i.e. crypto to XRP. The official blog post reads:

In the past few months, the XRPL Labs have made several improvements to the Xumm wallet to make it better for users. In May, they teamed up with Guardarian, which allows users to buy and sell XRP using more than 40 different fiat currencies. 
After that, the XRPL Labs worked with Poko, a payment service provider, to add over 100 payment methods to Xumm for purchasing XRP. Additionally, they also launched a game called Zerpmon in June, where players can earn XRP directly into their Xumm wallet.
