<p>A recent alleged influencer scandal involving Ripple has made headlines in the crypto world. The scandal was made public by Darkhorse, a cryptocurrency investigator who claimed to have <a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.551082/gov.uscourts.nysd.551082.868.20.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">discovered evidence</a> that Ripple was paying influencers to promote its <a href="https://coinedition.com/ripple-xrp-price-prediction/">cryptocurrency XRP</a> on social media platforms. According to the investigator, Ripple paid popular influencers to post positive tweets about XRP without disclosing that they were paid to do so.</p> 
<p>This claim was opposed by Mr. Huber, a cryptocurrency investigator, on Twitter:</p>
