<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/terawulf-boosts-bitcoin-mining-output-by-35/">TeraWulf</a> Inc., a vertically integrated Bitcoin mining company, has hit a <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2023/06/22/2692914/0/en/TeraWulf-Achieves-5-5-EH-s-and-160-MW-of-Bitcoin-Mining-Capacity.html">new</a> milestone. They have achieved 5.5 EH/s and 160 MW of Bitcoin mining capacity. 
This boost in capacity comes with the completion of Building 2 at their Lake Mariner facility in New York. TeraWulf has been operating in this facility since March 2022. Now, it boasts an operational mining capacity of 110 MW and 3.6 EH/s. 
TeraWulf's Lake Mariner facility taps into the Western New York power grid. Here, over 91% of the energy is zero-carbon, primarily from hydro and nuclear resources. 
Another important facility for TeraWulf is the Nautilus. This is a joint venture with Cumulus Coin, LLC. Since February 2023, TeraWulf has deployed 50 MW and 1.9 EH/s at the Nautilus facility. 
Both sites of TeraWulf have the potential for expansion. The Lake Mariner facility could increase by another 100 MW soon and up to 500 MW in total. The Nautilus facility also has the potential for an extra 50 MW of mining capacity. 
TeraWulf collaborates with BITMAIN, a leading crypto mining equipment manufacturer. This partnership aids TeraWulf's access to efficient crypto mining fleets.&nbsp;
