<p><strong>A trademark infringement lawsuit has been filed against Huobi Global by X-Spot Limited, a company controlled by Li Lin. The lawsuit alleges that X-Spot Limited holds the rights to the Huobi trademark and that Huobi Global is using the trademark without X-Spot’s permission. This follows previous accusations made by Tron founder Justin Sun against Li Lin’s brother, Li Wei, who was accused of purchasing Huobi Tokens without payment and had his account blocked.</strong></p> 
<h2 id="trademark-infringement-lawsuit-filed-against-huobi">Trademark Infringement Lawsuit Filed Against Huobi</h2> 
<p>The lawsuit claims that X-Spot Limited holds the rights to the Huobi trademark and that Huobi Global is using the trademark without X-Spot’s permission. When the initial shareholders transferred their shares in Huobi Global to About Capital Management, they explicitly agreed to retain the rights to the Huobi trademark and ensured that these rights would not be transferred to the buyer or Huobi. The parties’ share transfer and asset settlement agreement explicitly prohibits the buyer from using the Huobi trademark.</p> 
<p>In a previous development, Tron founder Justin Sun made significant statements about Huobi founder’s brother, Li Wei, on May 16. Sun accused Wei of obtaining Huobi Tokens without payment and stated that the HT DAO Committee would take action to address the situation. Sun criticized Wei harshly, arguing that the Huobi founder’s brother provided no benefit to the HT community. During this process, statements made by Justin Sun had a positive impact on the HT price, which gained 3% in value.</p>
