<p class="is-style-lead">MetaMask Institutional and Fireblocks have joined forces to offer institutional investors and blockchain developers a solution for secure defi and web3 access, combining wallet security, portfolio management, and connectivity to thousands of decentralized applications.</p>

<p>MetaMask Institutional (MMI), a leading web3 wallet for organizations, and <a href="https://crypto.news/fireblocks-network-unveils-a-cryptocurrency-payment-platform-for-businesses/">Fireblocks</a>, a platform for secure DeFi access and crypto operations, have announced a partnership deal aimed at providing institutional investors and builders with an unparalleled suite of services.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Through the collaboration, the team will combine the best-in-class wallet security offered by Fireblocks, with the enhanced functionality and <a href="https://crypto.news/coinmarketcap-web3-conference-catalyst-early-bird-registration-now-open/">web3</a> access provided by MetaMask Institutional.</p>



<p>The team says the more than 1,800 organizations currently using Fireblocks will gain access to MMI&#8217;s extensive suite of portfolio management solutions and seamless connectivity to more than 17,000 DeFi and web3 applications.&nbsp;</p>



<p>By connecting their Fireblocks accounts to MMI, users can engage in activities such as investing, trading, lending, borrowing, liquidity provision, and asset bridging across various Ethereum Virtual Machine (<a href="https://crypto.news/glossary/ethereum-virtual-machine-evm/">EVM</a>) chains. The security of Fireblocks&#8217; MPC wallet infrastructure and Policy Engine for transaction governance and signing further ensures the safety of these operations, the team claims.&nbsp;</p>

<p>MMI will also provide Fireblocks&#8217; users with an array of features to enhance their web3 portfolio management experience. These include digital asset monitoring, protocol allocation breakdowns, and in-depth transaction reporting, all conveniently accessible through a single dashboard.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Users can also benefit from native token swaps and Ethereum staking directly from the MMI extension or dashboard. </p>



<p>Additionally, team management settings with automated onboarding and organization-wide portfolio views will be available. The integration will further enable users to assess performance and profit/loss (P&amp;L) attribution metrics for <a href="https://crypto.news/erc-20-tokens-to-watch-in-march-2023/">ERC-20</a> tokens and major defi protocols.</p>
