Despite Atomic Wallet's statement, some users continue to report losses, and the community criticized the company's attempt to downplay the damage. Notably, the largest individual loss in the hack was $7.95 million in Tether on the Tron <strong><a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/consensus-mechanisms-in-blockchain-popular-algorithms-you-should-know-about" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">blockchain</a></strong>. Furthermore, pro-XRP lawyer John Deaton's mobile phone was hacked, and his Twitter account was used to promote LAW tokens, leading to warnings against investing in the cryptocurrency.</p>
