<h3 id="second-wbanniversary">Second wBANniversary</h3>
<a href="https://banano.cc/blog/wban-1-year-anniversary" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Just like last year</a>, I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed!
It’s time, again, to make a short recap of what happened those last twelve months:
<ul>
 <li>2022–07–10: <a href="https://banano.cc/blog/wrapped-banano-gasless-wraps-swaps-and-translations" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Gasless features</a> (wrap and swap with no gas) and wBAN goes international with plenty of languages supported</li>
 <li>2022–11–01&nbsp;: <a href="https://banano.cc/blog/wrapped-banano-wban-available-on-ethereum" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wBAN on Ethereum and Uniswap (v2)</a></li>
 <li>2022–12–11: <a href="https://banano.cc/blog/wrapped-banano-wban-available-on-arbitrum" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wBAN on Arbitrum</a></li>
 <li>2023–01–17: <a href="https://banano.cc/blog/wban-zaps" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">zap in/zap out with wBAN farms</a></li>
 <li>and plenty of improvements along the way of course!</li>
</ul>
An interesting statistic as well: more than 90M wBAN total supply (all networks included), compared to 52M last year!That’s a bit more than 6% of BAN total supply.

Some monkeys were deeply involved in contributing to wBAN over the past two years.
Now’s the time to showcase them!
Iazid, Majic, Yekta, WhiteFlag and Oops will receive this special NFT:<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/6eb2a9a7bc114f45ad7eb1fef76a8ab8.png">

This NFT will be minted in limited quantities over time for these special monkeys.Thanks for helping shape wBAN for the greater good!
<h3 id="where-to-find-claim-trade-thesenfts">Where to find, claim &amp; trade these&nbsp;NFTS?</h3>
To easily find all your current NFT and to claim the ones you’ve been airdropped, you can go to this wBAN page when connected to Polygon network: <a href="https://wrap.banano.cc/nft?ref=ghost.banano.cc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wrap.banano.cc/nft</a><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/305415cdf7d4424187ccef1d89d0dcf6.png">

If you have the yellow box with the “Grab Them” button, you are eligible for the airdrop.
<blockquote>
 You will need a very small amount of MATIC to claim them. Ask in #wrapped-banano channel in the Discord Server for a monkey willing to trade some BAN for MATIC if you need.
</blockquote>
You can trade all the NFTs in OpenSea: <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/wban?ref=ghost.banano.cc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://opensea.io/collection/wban</a>
If you own a NFT you can decide to sell it and make a listing with a price of your choosing.
If you are interested in a NFT, you can make offers to those having it or buy from available listings. If you don’t have ETH or USDC on Polygon, you can wrap some BAN and swap them through wBAN swaps page.

<h3 id="what-iswban">What is&nbsp;wBAN?</h3>
wBAN is short for <a href="https://wrap.banano.cc/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Wrapped Banano</a>. The main idea is that you wrap your Banano as wBAN tokens, and unwrap wBAN tokens back to Banano crypto. This allows you to use a representation of Banano on other networks! wBAN is currently available on the Ethereum Mainnet, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Fantom and Arbitrum. See <a href="https://www.daily-peel.com/post/wbanfaq" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wBAN FAQ for more details</a>.
wBAN was created to connect Banano to the wider smart-contracts / DeFi ecosystem. We love seeing monkeys learning and participating in DeFi!
