TL;DR Wanchain and Function X have deployed new decentralised, non-custodial bridges connecting f(x)Core to the Wanchain Layer 1 blockchain and the XRP Ledger. The first set of supported assets include FX, PUNDIX, WAN and XRP.Wanchain, the global leader for decentralised blockchain interoperability solutions, and Function X, a multi-layered blockchain project that targets bringing traditional financial products to the Web3, are pleased to announce the addition of the f(x)Core network to Wanchain’s cross-chain infrastructure.Function X is mirroring traditional financial products and creating decentralized financial products with real-world use cases, including retail payments, DEXes, liquidity protocols with lower fees on a scalable blockchain infrastructure. Developers can easily create customized blockchains using Function X’s subnet solution to have different settings to suit their business’ needs and the setup could be different with the main chain — f(x)Core. The changeable variables include, blocktime, number of validator nodes, transaction fee,transaction fee token, type of block reward tokens, block size, collateral, allowing smart contract deployment etc. Developers or business owners can cherry pick (customized) the function / variable in accordance with their business needs and launch their own sub blockchain (while connecting with f(x)Core) or smart contract. Its purpose is to accommodate transfers between different blockchains, enabling all to build entirely on and for the blockchain.Wanchain is both a sustainable Layer 1 PoS blockchain and a decentralised wide area network of blockchains. The Wanchain Layer 1 PoS blockchain is a full Ethereum-like environment that works with industry-standard Ethereum tools, DAPPs, and protocols. Wanchain’s wide area network of blockchains is a decentralised system of direct, non-custodial cross-chain bridges that connect both EVM and non-EVM networks without requiring any centralised intermediaries.
