We have closed the <a href="https://whitepaper.gamesforaliving.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Games For a Living (GFAL)</a> project on <a href="https://bit2me.com/suite/launchpad/project/gfal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bit2Me Launchpad</a> in a record time of 14 seconds, raising almost 200,000 euros in early capital.
The success of this project on Bit2Me Launchpad in a record time left many interested parties without the option of depositing their funds to obtain GFAL tokens. For all those who could not enter the final phase, Bit2Me and GFAL will distribute 500 GFAL tokens per user.
This historic milestone also occurred in the middle of a "crypto-winter" and has surpassed the success of Bit2Me's Initial Coin Offering (ICO), launched during September 2021, whose phases closed in 59, 47, and 38 seconds respectively.
According to Leif Ferreira, co-founder and CEO of Bit2Me, "It's certainly impressive to see how, in the midst of a global 'crypto-winter,' GFAL has managed to raise almost 200,000 euros in just 14 seconds. Currently, with their game Elemental Raiders, it's exciting to see how GFAL is merging two industries as interesting as Blockchain and Gaming. This only demonstrates the quality of work and the team behind GFAL."
This team is composed of Manel Sort, creator and former general manager of the King studio in Barcelona with over 25 years in the industry, launching more than 60 video games, Javier León, art director nominated for an Emmy Award and one of the top 200 Digital Artists in the World according to Lürzer's Archive magazine, Christian Gascons, multiplatform game specialist with 16 years of experience in companies such as Digital Chocolate, and Marc Tormo, creative director of Games for a Living with more than 16 years of experience in the sector in companies such as Activision Blizzard. Trip Hawkins, former Director of Strategy and Marketing at Apple and founder of Electronic Arts, one of the world's most important video game companies, recently joined as an advisor.
They also have Carlos Blanco and Ernest Sánchez, responsible for Nuclio Venture Builder, with extensive experience in investing in Internet entrepreneurs and technology startups. Before their success on Bit2Me Launchpad, the GFAL project had received first-class venture capital investment from funds in Spain such as Inveready and Bonsai Partners, among others.
Those who have bet on acquiring $GFAL tokens through Bit2Me Launchpad can use them to purchase in-game assets and battle passes, mint and improve NFTs, make transactions on the Marketplace, and access exclusive events, tournaments, and collections. In addition, they can vote on the games and functionalities that GFAL will offer in the future.
