The SOL token is still only worth about 50% of what it was worth in the first week of November 2022.</p><p>Crypto specialists are forecasting that the price of Solana (SOL) would never reach its record high of $258. At the height of the bull run in July 2021, the cryptocurrency market was valued at $78.20 billion. In contrast, the market's current size is $4.60 billion. The SBF-related corporations' ownership in the blockchain network was the cause of the current carnage. The price of SOL was significantly impacted by the links to FTX's collapse.</p><h3 id="a-solana-network-threat">A Solana Network Threat</h3><p>Crypto specialists claim that despite the underlying impacts of contagion, it might be challenging for SOL to return to its all-time high. Insider of the cryptocurrency sector Jordi Alexander asserted that Solana's $100 billion fully diluted valuation (FDV) was unjustified.</p><p>Solana never again approaches its ATH. A new L1 that employs the same strategy but does it in a better designed manner is the major danger to Solana. The community is pretty strong, and the builders adore it. However, I don't believe that can account for the $100 billion FDV it had.</p><p>As of this writing, the price of <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/solana-sol-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Solana</a> (SOL) is $12.05, up 1.76% over the previous day, according to market monitoring service CoinGabbar. This is almost 65% less expensive than the $37 price set for November 5, 2022.</p>
