<h2 id="header-0">Jo Johnson, the sibling of former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, quit his advising position at Bifinity, a subsidiary of Binance.</h2><p>Brother of former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Joseph Edmund Johnson, also known as Jo Johnson, has resigned from his role as an advisor to a <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/binancecoin-bnb-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a> subsidiary company. The in issue subsidiary is called Bifinity, a payment technology firm established by Binance.</p><h3 id="johnson-jo-leaves-binance">Johnson Jo leaves Binance</h3><p>Joseph Johnson serves on the advisory board of the Binance-powered Bifinity, which was launched in March of this year. Johnson had been serving in that capacity since September, however, according to a well-known news source, he left last week as a result of Binance&#39;s increasing demands for openness.</p><p>I stood away from the advisory board last week and have no position with it [or] any affiliated organisation, the 50-year-old member of the UK House of Lords was cited as saying.</p><p>This change occurs as the crypto-giant struggles to obtain regulatory authorisation to begin operations in the United Kingdom.</p><h4>Growing Legal Issues with Binance</h4><p>Authorities in the UK had earlier banned the Binance exchange from offering any form of financial services in June of this year. The company in question lacked the necessary authorisation to offer regulated services anywhere inside the boundaries of the United Kingdom, according to the Financial Conduct Authority.</p><p>Binance started the process of requesting the necessary regulatory approvals from official authoritative entities only in November of this year.</p><p>Additionally, the business must cope with a potential prosecution by the US Department of Justice, which is considering charging Binance with a crime for breaking anti-money laundering regulations.</p><h4>Regarding Bifinity on Binance</h4><p><a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency/bifi-bifi-prices-usd" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bifinity</a> is a fintech startup, according to Binance, that connects businesses, merchants, and millions of individuals to the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.</p><p>The platform presently supports over 50 cryptocurrencies and all of the major payment methods, including VISA, Mastercard, and more. Helen Hai, the president of Bifinity, is in charge of it.</p>
