<p>In this week’s update, we will provide an overview of some of the monetization features you can expect to see on Cherish and how they will work for you.</p><p>As we have discussed before, one of our goals here at Cherish is to tip the balance of control away from corporate interests and back towards the user. In this spirit, we have designed the platform to work around the Creator as much as possible, rather than the Creator working around the platform. All of our features have been tailored to be as flexible, fluid and user-friendly as possible, providing our Creators with the freedom to focus on what they do best.</p><h2 id="header-0">Subscriptions</h2><p>Creators can design multiple types of subscription profiles they wish to utilize, which can give varying degrees of access to the content they post and the perks that come with this access.</p><h2 id="header-1">Tipping</h2><ul><li><strong>Content-related</strong> Users can tip creators to unlock specific content the creator has listed. This content can be included or excluded in subscription packages as per the creator’s wishes.</li><li><strong>Open-ended</strong> Users can freely donate to their favorite creator, continuing to support as they publish content.</li></ul><h2 id="header-2">Commissions</h2><p>Creativity and art can never be confined to a single format, so commissions should be able to fulfil the user’s needs for custom content requests.</p><p>Unlike other platforms, we provide a robust system that protects creators from chargebacks and abuse.</p><h2 id="header-3">E-Commerce</h2><p>Other than content that can be consumed, a lot of creators’ income stems from services or products they sell online.
