At Cherish, our Creators constitute the most important part of our platform. From day one, their input, feedback and suggestions have helped to shape and direct the development of the project. In this spirit, and as we now approach launch, we have decided to share some insights into how this vision is being realized and how it will look once the platform goes live.In this update, we’ll talk about:<ul><li>What makes Cherish different</li><li>How this will look to you</li><li>What to expect next</li></ul>At Cherish, the Creator comes first.We believe that true expression requires true artistic freedom. Cherish gives Creators full control and ownership over their content and page, ensuring you will always be able to express yourself unburdened by exhausting censorship, algorithms and ads. Through this, we seek to provide a space where artistic expression can flourish freely and naturally. Unlike legacy platforms, we will never have:<ul><li>Fees and barriers to entry (preferential treatment for big creators)</li><li>Algorithms that unfairly promote certain content at the expense of genuine creators, and feeds saturated with ads</li><li>Invasive censorship and unethical privacy intrusions</li></ul>This is why we have taken it upon ourselves to liberate artistic expressionfrom the constraints of the past, once and for all.How this will lookA key feature of Cherish is the vision of a platform where artists retain full control over how they connect with their followers, unencumbered by inauthentic content or intrusive ads.<ul><li>Since we want all our creators to have full authority over their pages, we have decided to segment all creator pages</li><li>We don’t want any other content cluttering our platform other than what the creator wants their audience to see.</li><li>Creator’s pages need to be their own and other content should not interfere with the audience’s experience.</li></ul>What to expect in our next updateIn our next update, we will be sharing insights into the Cherish Discover page, where users will be able to explore content on the platform, as well as our design decisions regarding the Cherish homepage.Expect limitless freedom of expression and creativity
