Next Earth, the largest web3 metaverse in the world with the most landowners has officially opened its platform and operating system to every developer worldwide. Anyone can develop their own Web3 app on the fully Web2-compatible Next Earth OS and unlock the power of dynamic NFTs. Another important update of Next Earth is the launch of its land description feature, which enables users to insert personalized text messages and web links to their NFT lands. The new utility connects web2 and web3 as it allows users and businesses to link their webshops, corporate websites, online galleries to the metaverse lands they own, and by so, set the foot of their business in the biggest web3 metaverse of the world.

The world’s biggest web3 metaverse with the most landowners, Next Earth has launched its Developer Portal and its underlying technical infrastructure, Next Earth Operating System (NEOS). The new portal with its constantly growing and evolving features opens up Next Earth to the developer community of the world: it gives the possibility to build new applications, programs, utilities based on our platform, using NEOS.

“The launch of our dev portal, which opens up our platform to the global developer community, is a step towards our ultimate vision: to create a fair digital life for every consumer on Next Earth. Developers can start building their own map-based applications using smart contracts and by minting their own dynamic NFTs through Next Earth OS (NEOS)” – said Gabor Retfalvi, CEO of Next Earth.

“NEOS provides a fully Web2 compatible, language agnostic way for developers to build on Web3. This means minting and launching dynamic NFTs that also have a geolocation thanks to our layer system without having to code in Solidity. Dynamic NFTs differ from regular NFTs in a way that they have properties that can change over time, enabling the storage of things like account balances, digital assets or loyalty points” – adds David Taylor, Chief Product Officer of Next Earth. “Every developer, no matter what language they’re proficient in, can build their applications and mint and manage their own dNFTs using the tech they already know. This opens Web3 to the broader developer community with over 20 million people on Earth. Thanks to NEOS these people can also build dNFTs because they don't need to learn a completely new programming language” – he added.

Next Earth’s developer portal already includes a sandbox powered by GraphQL and an Object API with ‘read all land data’ feature, and the following updates are coming in the upcoming weeks: Layer API (One-click layer generation), Minting API (Smart contract factory) and Controller API (Updating dNFTs based on business logic).
