They enable us to obtain stuff to eat. Farmers are essential to society because they provide us with the food we need daily.Farmers come in a variety of forms. They are all equally important. The farmers who cultivate crops like wheat, barley, rice, etc. are the first group. Since most Indians enjoy eating wheat and rice, most farmers grow those foods, making them essential to the economy. Second, because fruits are seasonal, farmers who grow several varieties of fruits must first prepare the land for those varieties. Therefore, Farmers must be well-versed in fruits, crops, and their needs. In addition, numerous additional Farmers are consistently engaged in a variety of tasks. Agro items generated by farmers contribute to around 17% of the Indian economy.<h3 id="strong-situation-of-farmers-strong">Situation of Farmers</h3>Since many years ago, the status of the farmers in India has never really been good. Their constant partner is poverty. The plight of Farmers is primarily caused by middlemen. Due to middlemen, farmers do not receive direct market payments. These intermediaries take the majority of the profit, leaving the Farmers with nearly little.They are unable to properly feed themselves or even send their children to school. They are forced to terminate their lives as a result of this terrible situation.Global warming is a significant factor in this predicament of the farmers. Farmers are currently the most impacted because this is a global issue. Because of inadequate nourishment, crops are suffering. Seasons are advancing later. Seasonal crops cannot, therefore, receive the proper nutrition. As a result, many farms are being destroyed.To save the farmers, the government has taken several actions. To date, numerous programs have been put into place for farmers’ benefit. The government just announced that Farmers are no longer eligible for any loans. In addition, it has been declared that every farmer will receive an annual pension of Rs. 6000 and that all of the farmer’s children will receive a quota. The government has made some excellent moves with them.ConclusionSuch a vocation like farming requires a lot of labor and effort. Our nation’s assets are its farmers. They ought to be handled just like the country’s military. The government’s actions are insufficient to address all of the issues facing farmers.
