As per reports, defendants in the XRP litigation have filed legal documents in response to the SEC&#39;s motion for Summary Judgement, which was filed on September 13, 2022.&amp;nbsp;<h2 id="header-0">The long-running legal battle between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States and Ripple is currently in the Summary Judgment Phase.</h2>As a result of this occurrence, additional companies are attempting to intervene in the XRP litigation as Amicus Curiae. During this time, the defendants have filed a Memo of Law against the Commission.As per reports, defendants in the XRP litigation have filed legal documents in response to the SEC&#39;s motion for <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news-english/sec-loses-summary-judgement-xrp-case" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Summary Judgement</a>, which was filed on September 13, 2022. Ripple has submitted legal briefs in response to the Commission&#39;s counter-statement.These records, however, were submitted under a seal. As a result, it will not be available to the public for the time being. Meanwhile, the SEC intends to file a response to Ripple&#39;s Summary Judgment motion.According to John Deaton, Amicus Curiae in the XRP litigation, the public will be allowed to access the redacted versions of these papers by October 24, 2022.This Thursday (Oct 19), the defendants and the SEC will meet to address the redactions. However, some filings will not be made public until late December.Sources reported that Ripple and Defendants have also submitted a declaration of Christopher S. Ford opposing the SEC&#39;s motion. It is accompanied by 60 exhibits. Ripple has also filed a statement of Erol Gulay with 138 exhibits in the XRP litigation.Will court approve more Amicus?Recently, several individuals and companies have requested permission from the court to file an Amicus Brief in the crucial <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news-english/amicus-urges-sec-reconsider-xrp-claims-xrp-lawsuit" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP lawsuit</a>.
