<h2 id="header-0">Near Foundation has announced a new partnership between Google Cloud and Near Protocol, which will provide infrastructure for Near&#39;s Web3 startup platform, Pagoda.</h2>According to an Oct. 4 announcement, this partnership would allow Google Cloud to give &#34;technical assistance&#34; to Near award recipients by providing infrastructure for Near&#39;s Remote Procedure Call node provider to Pagoda.Near Protocol is a decentralized application (<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-dictionary/decentralized-applications-dapps" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DApp</a>) framework that focuses on the developer and user usability. It uses sharding technology to ensure scalability and, as a competitor to Ethereum, is a proof-of-stake blockchain with smart contracts.Pagoda is a startup platform that was launched in February 2022 to enable Web3 developers to build on Near with a full-stack toolset to build, publish, and maintain their <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-english/the-concept-of-domain-names-in-web-three-ens" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3 applications</a> or DApps on the blockchain.In a statement, Google Cloud director of digital assets Carlos Arena stated that his firm&#39;s infrastructure will allow Near developers to &#34;grow and expand,&#34; and that the business will continue to promote new products and services on blockchain-based platforms.In September, Google Cloud announced a similar partnership with Binance&#39;s smart contract blockchain platform BNB Chain, allowing entrepreneurs to build goods and services on the BNB Chain blockchain to also build on Google Cloud&#39;s scalable, secure, and open-source infrastructure.In January, Google Cloud established a new digital assets team to assist the growth and expansion of the blockchain ecosystem.
