CTFC faces backlash over Ooki DAO case</h2>The U.S. CFTC is facing strong criticism from the community. It had filed a federal civil enforcement action against members of Ooki DAO.The CFTC had pressed charges against the founders of decentralized trading platform bZeroX for their role in “illegally offering leveraged and margined retail commodity transactions in digital assets”. It alleges that Ooki DAO members violated the same laws.The enforcement action has drawn the ire of a number of crypto lawyers and even a CFTC commissioner.
