On the upside, an immediate resistance level is near $18,800. The next major hurdle is placed near $19,000. The 50% Fib retracement level of the current decline from the swing high of $19,950 to the low of $18,153 is also near the $19,000 level. The main resistance is currently forming at the $19,200 area and the 100 hourly simple moving average.A close above $19,200 would increase the probability of a move towards $19,650. Any further advances might push the price up to the $20,000 barrier level. If bitcoin does not recover over $19,000, it may continue to fall. On the downside, there is immediate support at $18,200. Around $18,000 is the next significant level of support. A clear break below the $18,000 level could set the door for a further fall.
