August 2022 was a productive month for our whole team. This monthly recap provides an overview of our accomplishments of this month while setting priorities and expectations for the coming month.
August Wrap-up
<h2 id="header-0">POSI Chain goes live</h2>
Previously operated on BNB Chain, Position Exchange has succesfully launched its own POSI Chain on August 1st. The all-time-high delegation on POSI Chain from the released date was $3.5M+.

<h2 id="header-1">POSI Bridge</h2>
The POSI Bridge is a cross-chain protocol designed for efficient and unlimited crypto token transfers with instant and secure transactions.
From August 1st, POSI Bridge offers transferring POSI from BNB Chain to POSI Chain.
From August 15th, Bridge from POSI chain back to BNB Chain was activated.
Investors can transfer unlimited tokens with the optimized Bridge fee including RFI fee, System fee, and Relayer fee. The System fee and the Relayer fee on POSI Bridge only charge 1 POSI for each. Similarly, the RFI fee takes a minor 1% transaction fee.
Our ambition is to make POSI Bridge a bridging protocol among several leading blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, and Avalanche.
Upcoming in September
<h2 id="header-2">Position Exchange Mobile app goes live on Google Play</h2>
In September, we have planned to launch the Position Exchange Mobile App on Google Play. It will provide a simple, user-friendly Position Exchange experience with a well-designed interface. The Mobile App will be continuously updated with the release of New Tokenomics.
The iOS version is coming soon.
<h2 id="header-3">New Tokenomics</h2>
To keep our commitment, we would like to introduce a new tokenomics in September: the Dual-token model that creates the ecosystem. The main idea is to divide the project's ecosystem into two tokens for better usability.
With the new reward token, we will stop minting POSI on BNB Chain and only mint for validators on POSI Chain until it reaches the maximum 100,000,000 supply.
We target to convert 100% of POSI tokens on BNB Chain to POSI coins on POSI Chain. One of the utilities of POSI is to pay the gas fee which fuels every specific transaction on the POSI Chain’s network. This conversion is significant in ensuring network stability by staking to validators while reinforcing the long run of POSI in the blockchain industry. It also guarantees users’ acquisition of Derivatives Trading revenue through Buy-Back and Burn mechanism.
In the next five years, our vision is to buy back and burn 50,000,000 POSI while reducing and maintaining the total supply to around 50,000,000.
<h2 id="header-4">Position Bonds P2P</h2>
Position Bonds work exactly like traditional bonds. They are financial instrument that represents a loan made by an investor to a borrower for a fixed return. Position Bonds are integrated on-chain as BEP20 tokens and powered by smart contracts.
Position’s P2P Bond can be used as a financial instrument and allows users to borrow assets from other users by issuing a Bond.
Use cases:
<ul>
 <li>Issuers can use P2P Bond to exchange on Bond Exchange and earn fixed income from bond interest.</li>
 <li>Individuals, companies, and projects can issue bonds to fund their businesses and projects by simply locking their assets (tokens, coins, digital art, or even virtual real estate) as collateral.</li>
</ul>
With P2P bonds, users are granted the ability to issue their own bonds using POSI as collateral. Previously, only Position Exchange has the right to do so.
Position P2P Bond Testnet is expected to be launched in September.
<h2 id="header-5">Position DEX</h2>
<h3 id="strong-futures-lite-strong">Futures Lite</h3>
Futures Lite is a stripped-down version of Futures with outstanding features: fewer data consumed, simpler interface, less manipulation, more user-friendly.
Futures Lite Mainnet is expected to be launched in September
<h3 id="strong-future-bridge-strong">Future Bridge</h3>
POSI Chain plays the role of order processing center and all of the orders will be transferred to POSI Chain to complete.
This feature helps to eliminate fees that users used to pay when using Position Futures on BNB Chain and improve order processing speed
Futures Bridge will be added to Futures once at least 10 trading pairs are going live.
Futures Bridge Testnet is expected to be launched in September
<h3 id="strong-mobile-app-improvements-fix-bug-strong">Mobile App Improvements &amp; Fix Bug</h3>
The Mobile App is continuously launched with several updated versions to fix bugs and improve stability in September.
<h3 id="strong-new-liquidity-pool-mechanism-for-dex-strong">New Liquidity Pool Mechanism for DEX</h3>
We had a vision of a future when the DEX is the heart of our ecosystem. We will focus on resolving the mechanism for liquidity pool of the DEX
The mechanism and algorithm are expected to complete in September
<h3 id="strong-new-white-paper-strong">New White Paper</h3>
The white paper is now out of date. We will prepare a new version of the white paper with more technical information that describes the DPTP and the unique DEX works.
Conclusion
Position Exchange is a long-term project with an ambitious vision. We aim to create the world's biggest Decentralized Crypto platform to gather DeFi users of all interests and backgrounds in one place.
With high spirit and a determined effort, we have been developing several features to enhance our performance. We believe that we possess the necessary technical and financial means to achieve our vision and exceed expectations.
