Today, August 1, 2022, marks StreamCoin’s first anniversary. One year has passed since we founded the company and began our journey. To celebrate this anniversary, we are proud to share what we have achieved in one year and shed light on our future milestones.<h2 id="header-0">The Inception of StreamCoin</h2><a href="https://stream-coin.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">StreamCoin</a> started on August 1, 2021. It was founded by a talented team who shared the belief in blockchain’s capability to create an adequate space for creators, artists, and other users around the world.With the rise of video-sharing applications in the post-covid phase, the team saw the potential of blockchain as the paramount technology to create a fair and open environment for all users in the NFT and live streaming space.In a few months, we were able to accelerate the R&amp;D for the StreamCoin ecosystem, including <a href="https://meitalktv.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MeiTalk</a>, <a href="https://strmnft.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">STRMNFT</a>, and <a href="https://stream-coin.com/mainnet" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Stream Chain</a> (Mainnet 1.0), after the seed funding. In addition, we started building partnerships to ensure global adoption of our ecosystem with many blockchain and live streaming platforms.One of the most important <a href="https://medium.com/streamcoin/real-research-users-can-now-enjoy-gstrm-reward-for-answering-surveys-70e1d3c5459d" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">partnerships was with Real Research</a>, a blockchain-based survey application with over 3 million users across 165&#43; countries. In addition, other partnerships were established with live streaming platforms for MeiTalk’s multi-streaming feature.<h2 id="header-1">StreamCoin Ecosystem Taking Shape</h2>Before the public sale (ICO) concludes its second round, we achieved more than promised in our initial roadmap. In mid-March, we launched the <a href="https://stream-coin.com/gstrm" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">GaStream</a> (GSTRM) utility token, which was airdropped to the eligible public sale participants and then listed on multiple exchanges.On March 25, in Dubai, UAE, we sponsored a platinum booth in the <a href="https://stream-coin.com/wlsc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">World Live Streamers Conference</a> 2022 (WLSC), hosted by our partner TNC Group. We presented our ecosystem to 30,000&#43; investors, industry leaders, influencers, and others who attended the conference and watched our CEO’s keynote speeches.During WLSC, we announced the launch of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v&#61;R954cgPDkHc&amp;t&#61;380s" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">MeiTalk’s first Alpha version</a>, which was available to all users to try and check its unique features with support for multi-streaming to Youtube, Instagram, and Twitch. Moreover, the STRMNFT preview version was available at our booth for attendants to try the minting feature.Before the end of April, we built new partnerships with many blockchain firms. These partnerships included Metabase Network, WeBlock, Aladdin Pro, Daoverse Capital, and many others.As we were approaching the listing date, we also finalized many listing partnerships, preparing to <a href="https://medium.com/streamcoin/streamcoin-strm-listing-on-100-exchanges-the-complete-list-f12db007336" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">list STRM on 100&#43; exchanges</a>.On April 30, we successfully concluded the <a href="https://stream-coin.com/public-sale" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">public sale</a> and achieved our soft cap by raising $11.7 million along with a corporate ICO participation from TNC Group of 200 million STRM.During the seed funding and the public sale, we also made many burning rounds for STRM, decreasing the total supply by more than 50% until May 6.<h2 id="header-2">100&#43; Exchanges Listing, and More</h2>In the first week of May, we set a historical record in the industry: Simultaneously listing <a href="https://stream-coin.com/exchanges" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">STRM on 100&#43; exchanges</a>. This listing provided access to STRM for millions around the world with centralized and decentralized trading platforms.Along with the listing, we launched the <a href="https://stake.stream-coin.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">STRM Staking</a> portal that offered up to 700% returns in GSTRM. In addition, we developed the <a href="https://strmbridge.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Stream Bridge</a> swapping service, making STRM cross-chain compatible with five different blockchains.Only three weeks after listing, we officially launched the STRMNFT marketplace before the end of May. We opened STRMNFT for registration and let the new users experience the marketplace by allowing them to mint NFTs for free.In mid-July, the first NFT sale on STRMNFT commenced with the Lady Ape Club (LAC) NFTs. During the sale, <a href="https://medium.com/streamcoin/9-000-lady-ape-nfts-sold-out-on-strmnft-within-4-hours-5b05fbea4f36" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">9,000 NFTs were sold out within four hours</a>, breaking a record in NFT sales despite the current crypto winter.<h2 id="header-3">Moving Forward</h2>As we step into StreamCoin’s new year, we will continue to develop the StreamCoin ecosystem and implement new features tailored to our users’ needs. The StreamCoin team is more energized than ever to carry on achieving our future milestones.We will move forward with the development of STRMNFT, improving users’ experience and adding new features, along with opening it for all creators to create, trade, and collect NFTs. Moreover, we will also continue the development of MeiTalk in line with our roadmap.From this August, we will start burning 50% of the STRM tokens accumulated from our service fees every month.
