Similar to bitcoin, the price of Cardano is trying to remain below $0.50 against the dollar. The ADA/USD pair reached a high of $0.594 before starting a sharp decline.The support levels of $0.550 and $0.520 were clearly broken. Additionally, a significant bullish trend line with support near $0.540 on the 4-hours chart was broken. Even below the support level of $0.500 and the 55 simple moving average, the price dropped.Near $0.445, a low was formed, and currently, that price is consolidating its losses. A few points above $0.450, it was corrected. Immediate upward resistance is situated near the $0.473 level.The $0.472 zone is also close to the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the drop from the $0.594 swing high to $0.434 low. The bears might take a stand at the next strong resistance, which is located close to the $0.500 level and the 55 simple moving average.The main hurdle is close to $0.500. It is close to the level of the 50% Fibonacci retracement of the decline from the $0.594 swing high to the $0.434 low. The price may move toward the $0.550 resistance if there is a clear upward break above the $0.500 level. Any fresh gains could indicate the start of a slow rise in the near future toward the $0.600 level.Near the $0.440 level, there is the immediate support on the downside. The price may possibly decline towards the $0.40 support level below the next major support, which is situated near the $0.434 level.
