<p>Build a fun mini-game with on-chain features on Oasis Network, and you could win $20,000</p><p>We are announcing the launch of our latest Gitcoin Hackathon on Gitcoin for three weeks between 8 and 29 June 2022.</p><p>This is an opportunity for all budding developers who are passionate about building the future of Web3 to bring their ideas to life.</p><h2 id="header-0"><strong>The Challenge</strong></h2><p>This Hackathon challenges developers to create a mini-game with on-chain features, such as NFTs and/or a native token, which is fun and addictive to play. Think Flappy Bird, Temple Runner, Tower Bloxx, or Candy Crush.</p><p>A playable version of the game should be launched, or ready to launch, on Oasis Emerald mainnet, within 3 months of the Hackathon.</p><p>Additionally, the mini-game must be part of a roadmap for a full version game that immerses the player long-term and can compete with other current blockchain games.</p><h2 id="header-1"><strong>The Prize</strong></h2><p>One lucky winner will receive $20,000 to help develop and launch the mini-game and full version.</p><h2 id="header-2"><strong>Why Oasis?</strong></h2><p>Oasis Network is scalable, developer-friendly, and has experienced record growth and surpassed $100 million in TVL in less than 12 hours of the launch of YuzuSwap, the first community-built DEX. Developers can easily start building on Emerald by using existing EVM tooling and deploying their Solidity smart contracts through our public Web3 gateway.</p><p>Through its separation of consensus and computation into two parallel layers, Oasis is far more scalable than other blockchains and can manage many complex transactions at scale.
