Caduceus [Old]

Analyzing the Caduceus Metaverse Protocol’s ecological value.
Competition and distribution of limited resources have been central to human history and will continue to be the driving force behind our development. The core of the Metaverse is based on creating digital resources, economy, and empowering the real world with digital technology. It is within these perimeters that the Metaverse can realise a new civilisation process in which digital and real worlds can coexist.

Using the above fundamentals as our framework the key six properties to creating a successful and thriving Metaverse have been distilled as follows:

Persistence: The digital world will exist forever and is not bound by the limitations of the real world

Real time processing: Digital spaces can be maintained and synchronised, mirroring our real world realities.

Compatibility: The Metaverse can accommodate people and things of any size, without limiting anyone.

Economic attributes: Is a fully operational independent economic system that can support transactions, payments and income generation.

Creativity: Content in the digital world can be created by anyone, regardless of whether they are an individual or collective.

Connectivity: Digital assets, social relations, and goods can all run through numerous digital worlds, and can be easily converted between virtual and reality.

Metaverse developers need to build applications based on these characteristics in order to optimise output and democratise access in digital worlds, mirroring underlying infrastructure to achieve a more immersive interaction between virtual and real world experiences.
Constructing a closed loop Metaverse ecology:
As a decentralised edge rendering Metaverse protocol, Caduceus uses the unique advantages of edge computing and decentralised edge rendering to solve problems including limited edge resources, unstable edge network, and complex network structure — which Caduceus is well placed to overcome through its open source platform, which provides ease of access, reliability and low cost services.
Echoing the above advantages, Caduceus has defined four key features to help create a close loop Metaverse ecology:
1. A powerful and interactive Metaverse protocol for developers
The Caduceus Metaverse Protocol has created a solution that integrates decentralised edge rendering and edge computing. On one hand, it solves the problem of interaction, and on the other, it satisfies real time data with a huge amount of calculation.
The overall design of decentralised edge rendering technology is divided into five parts; edge service framework, network protocol, end-to-end interaction engine, end-to-end scheduling system, and an application development tool chain.
This provides Metaverse developers with an agile space that guarantees optimum value without wasting resources, and also meets users’ needs for computing power and capacity — helping to improve efficiency and reducing costs, on the basis of original rendering capabilities.
With the increase in market digitisation, Caduceus is able to expedite the rapid construction of Metaverse applications with decentralised edge rendering technology, and in doing so provides developers with low latency, low cost, high performance, and high security architectural services to solve the diversification and differences of edge computing.
2. Building a value bridge between digital worlds and reality
In the existing development environment the Metaverse is gradually starting to cover off all aspects of the physical world.
The more new technologies intersect with the real world, the more developers can reflect on their efforts, successes and failures to create more meaningful and effective products and experiences.
Caduceus guarantees the ownership and transfer of developers’ principles and core values in the Metaverse world. This allows each developer’s applications, data assets, and digital creations to contribute to the Metaverse economic and cultural cycle in the same way as real life products and experiences.
As part of this, Caduceus is planning to provide more support and incentives for developers to help Caduceus Metaverse ecology grow rapidly.
3. Let ordinary users gain value while experiencing the Metaverse
The most important thing in a virtual space twinned with reality is the interaction between the product or experience and its users.
During user interaction the need for low latency and high image quality will be key but this cannot bypass performance and capacity. The network capacity of Caduceus will increase exponentially with the number of nodes incorporated within the Caduceus network.
Through distributed edge computing and elastic scaling, Caduceus operations can be accelerated without wasting resources, and with the prosperity of the Caduceus ecology the provider of computing power can even expand to individual users.
The open source system created by Caduceus uses CMP as a reward to allow all network-connected devices to participate in contributing idle GPU computing resources, helping to expand Caduceus global computing nodes, and ultimately achieve a balance between supply and demand among enterprises and users for mutual benefit.
In other words, users can experience an interactive and realistically rendered Metaverse while participating in the contribution of idle GPU computing resources, to obtain economic incentives.
When a Metaverse application can enrich people’s spiritual world and improve people’s material life at the same time, it will attract the attention of users all over the world.
4. Caduceus backers and new opportunities for the development of the Metaverse
Caduceus’ Series A funding round was led by Susquehanna International Group, a leading global venture capital and cryptocurrency liquidity provider founded by Jeff Yass, and BlockFills, with participation from Bin Zayed Group, Qredo, TokenInsight, Nukkleus, Digital RFQ and Luna VC.
At the same time, Caduceus is backed by well-known public figures including legendary footballer John Terry, former professional snooker legend and former world champion Stephen Hendry and cricketer Sir Ian Botham.
In one month, nearly 20 leading projects have joined the Caduceus ecosystem, and there are many more venture capitalists, crypto investment firms, traditional businesses, and personalities across the worlds of film, sports, music who remain optimistic.
These resources will help Caduceus build a complete Metaverse ecology, providing necessary resources to accelerate the development of the Caduceus Metaverse ecology.
Conclusion
Caduceus is positioned as an open source infrastructure platform for the Metaverse and digital world.
Although the development of the Metaverse is in its early stage, through the Caduceus platform, we have already been able to catch a glimpse of the exciting opportunities available in this interconnected and value sharing digital world.
Caduceus’ underlying architecture, ease-of-use tools, funding, resource support, and community communication streamlines Metaverse creation and usability.
