Hey Babies!BabySwap is one-year-old!! Time flies and the ILO was like yesterday. There were many touching moments over the last year that we want to share with all babies. Together, we BUIDL a better BNB Chain, and we will continue to work on every possible upgrade and update. Let’s review the past achievements with Baby and foresee the future.<h2 id="header-0">The Past Year</h2><h3 id="strong-new-born-baby-strong">New-Born Baby</h3>April 2021, in a typical but tranquil evening, the team of people with unfettered minds gathered and discussed to do something fun, meaningful, and sustainable based on BSC (now BNB Chain). At that time, it was a bull market for the whole crypto industry including altcoins, and there were 100&#43; newborn projects on BSC. We did a lot of research, and found out how fundamental and significant newborn projects are to keep the crypto industry moving, so we decided to be with it, keep the sharp instincts, and be a long-term builder.So why don’t we build a project that is keen to service newborn projects? That sounds like a great idea! Newborn projects are like Babies, AMM means Swap. Let’s do BabySwap.That’s how all things started.Registered for the company, registered for the domains… In the following month, we finished the brand design, marketing research, product development, and operation preparation.On June 1st, 2021, BabySwap was officially online and started ILO mode — first-ever in the crypto industry.<h3 id="be-open">Be Open</h3>At the very beginning, we told ourselves that you had to be open. Being open is the core of Web3, as it requires you to fulfill all needs, to follow what the market tells you to, and to adjust the strategies along with it. Being open is also one of the fundamentals of AMM — We could call it altruism. We will use all available sources to assist projects including operation advice, marketing opinions, DeFi services, and etc. We continuously build and maintain collaborations with all kinds of projects and serve as a bridge among projects to create a net of collaboration — Collaboration is the key to success.At that moment, there were more than 50 AMMs competing with each other, and BabySwap was able to be the top support of all partners. The DeFi service of BabySwap was able to reach the top tier with the daily trading volume being over $100 M, and had over 4–6 projects collaborating for pools each week. Meanwhile, we were also trying to innovate — NFB.Build the base — 2021.06–2021.07This is the period that we built our fundamentals and communities. Fundamentals mean all the basic features and the most important part — security. We first made friends with CertiK, since you know that security is the prior concern. By the end of June 2021, we had three audits by CertiK, and by now, we have 11 audits! We also opened a SkyNet service to monitor our security status 24/7. With their help, we did not only run BabySwap in a secured way but also applied a 48-hour timelock (the longest one for BSC projects) to upgrade our guard system.Also, NFB was out at the end of June 2021. That’s our first step into the NFT, isn’t it? Cheers to the bright future.<h3 id="most-valuable-builder">Most Valuable Builder</h3>We were in MVB III in August 2021 and got deep support from the BSC team. The BSC team is the best team in the whole industry, and they provide mature operation advice, key collaboration resources, and help us solve problems encountered. During the MVB III, the DeFi service of BabySwap pumped a lot.A Baby is growing up — 2021.08–2021.10In September 2021, we were on Binance NFT and had amazing outcomes — Sold out in 1 sec, floor price over 10 times, trading volume ranking number 1. Gosh, Baby Avatar was all over the crypto industry!Most importantly, it’s BSC’s first birthday so we’ve held many events for it! We cooperated with SecondLive and Dvision for their outstanding metaverse. We also did our own airdrop for BSC and attracted many users. As BSC hit its 1st year anniversary, BabySwap has been selected as Binance Smart Chain MVB III August Monthly Star!! This meant a lot to a 4-month old baby, that our hard work finally paid off. However, this is only the first step of MVB III, with all the help BSC has granted including mentorship and support, BabySwap would become stronger and stronger.Well, see how the baby has grown today.<h3 id="stepping-into-gamefi">Stepping into GameFi</h3>Starting from October 2021, the trends suddenly changed from DeFi to GameFi. In September 2021, the community once suggested that we could build a GameFi project based on a baby’s avatar. So we decided to give authorization on our brand avatar and incubated the project — The Crypto You.GameFi has pushed our brand awareness to the peak. It has not met people’s expectations due to a lack of experience and technical issues . However, GameFi was still shining, and more ‘to earn’ projects were here.Gaming baby, trending baby — 2021.11–2022.01We announced ourselves as Baby MetaFi and changed to a Metaverse project to be the one-stop crypto service platform. We also held many charity sales during this time period, along with extra collaborations with all kinds of projects. Meanwhile, Baby’s Twitter followers has reached 200k, and our trading volume has reached over $300M.Chances are out there, babies are gonna go beyond DEX.<h3 id="baby-metafi">Baby MetaFi</h3>We have learned a lot from the past year, which reflected on the things we achieved or failed.
