<h2 id="header-0">#1.&nbsp; European crypto industry works to influence EU policy</h2>
EU lawmakers last month voted to back new safeguards for tracing bitcoin and other crypto.
The rules would require crypto firms to gather and hold information on who is involved in digital currency transfers.
More than 40 crypto business leaders have asked the European Union not to require crypto firms to disclose transaction details and to exclude decentralised projects, among others.

<h2 id="header-1">#2. US Secret Service can track crypto as easily as emails</h2>
U.S. Secret Service (USSS) assistant director of investigations David Smith told CNBC that the agency can track the flow of Bitcoin and other crypto like how they do email addresses.
USSS has seized more than $102 million in crypto across 254 cases since 2015.
The transparent and immutable aspect of blockchain ledgers means crypto transactions can be traced easier than fiat in some cases.

<h2 id="header-2">#3. Deadfellaz NFT signs deal with UTA</h2>
Deadfellaz has signed an exclusive representation deal with United Talent Agency (UTA).
UTA also recently inked deals with prominent NFT collections like CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Autoglyphs.
Deadfellaz is a collection of 10,000 zombie-themed NFTs. The new deal will include brand partnerships, merchandising, gaming, and live events.

<h2 id="header-3">#4. Blockchain.com looking at IPO</h2>
Crypto exchange Blockchain.com is interviewing banks for an initial public offering (IPO). The IPO could happen as early as this year, or in 2023.
Blockchain.com reached a valuation of $14 billion in a Series D round last month. It recently acquired Altonomy’s over-the-counter trading desk and sponsored NFL team Dallas Cowboys.

<h2 id="header-4">#5. KuCoin launches $100M fund for NFT creators</h2>
Crypto exchange KuCoin has launched a $100 million Creators Fund to support early-stage NFT projects.
The fund complements the newly launched KuCoin Windvane NFT Marketplace.
NFT categories of interest include art, sports, profile pictures (PFPs), Asian culture, celebrities and GameFi.
