<h2 id="header-0">Electric cargo-tricycle gives people in Senegal a path out of poverty.</h2><p>In the Senegal, a new electric-powered tricycle is helping bring income to poor people and easing the burden of looking after families. The three-wheeler powered by a fast-charged lithium ion battery, is being piloted by Bob Eco in Dakar.</p><p>With this project Bob Eco aims to build a sustainable and local value chain for the production, operation, and maintenance of electric cargo bikes in collaboration with local and national stakeholders.</p><p>Bob Ultee, CEO and Spokesperson of Bob Eco explains: “The project is based on a social entrepreneurship business model that makes clean mobility accessible to lower income communities.
