Obortech

According to the World Economic Forum, 20% of international transportation costs come from bureaucratic paperwork — indicating that the current supply chain methods are costly, time-consuming, and overall outdated.

To solve this issue, Obortech offers decentralization and simplicity which allows companies to know what is happening upstream in the supply chain and to communicate this knowledge both internally and externally. From production management to procurement, we introduce a unified communication and data exchange hub underpinned by blockchain and IoT for supply-chain. This will allow small businesses the following benefits:

↑ Increase operational and fleet management efficiency↑ Reduce disputes caused by inconsistent and late data sharing↑ Make logistics transparent through real-time product traceability↑ Build a trusted customer relationship↑ Sharpen planning, risk analysis, and trade financial process↑ Create paperless smart contracts

OUR MOTIVE
Traditionally, companies have used a centralized system to store all information on a single server managed by another organization. This act exposes the server to malfunction and changes implemented by unauthorized parties. However, by incorporating the Obortech Smart Hub ecosystem, (1) you can secure sharing and exchange of documents with supply chain partners using blockchain-powered version control, (2) monitor the supply chain overview via easy-to-use web and mobile user interfaces, and an open API, (3) enable real-time traceability through IoT sensors installed on containers or trucks, (4) create a trusted network for partners and customers through blockchain technology.
The world’s largest transportation companies believe that blockchain and IoT (Internet of Things) communication technologies will bring the next revolution in logistics and supply. Since the supply chain is not limited to one country, there should be an information exchange system that can be used by both importers and exporters. Therefore, in addition to being accepted as a world standard, we began researching to develop a model that is suitable for Mongolia, a system that can be used by anyone. There is a need to make this system decentralized, democratic, and secure - so we have partnered up with an international team of developers to create a secure blockchain development.

THE DIFFERENCE
The blockchain system records the information exchanged by authorized parties on a decentralized network, and the information that has already been registered cannot be deleted or altered. Basically, since neither party has the right to make arbitrary decisions, this creates trust between the partnering companies.
The principle of our system is designed to be understandable and accessible to users of all education levels. We are developing a social platform template just like the ones that everyone uses to make it easier and simpler to operate. The information your organization enters is recorded on a blockchain and stored on a highly secure system. We introduced the experimental beta version to the public last October. Within this framework, organizations wishing to participate in the pilot have been registered and we are planning to complete the pilot within this year.

The OBOT token was also introduced to make the information exchange ecosystem more interesting and innovative than ever before.

The token can be used in many ways in a virtual ecosystem to exchange information and will be the primary use token for that ecosystem. Clients can be scored based on how actively they provide accurate and reliable information and how much trust they have among their partners. The score represents a certain level, which means that the customer will be rewarded with a corresponding token. Also, the OBOT token can be used in a variety of ways, including discounts on the system, smart contract promotions, participation in system governance activities, and bartering with others in the system environment. This OBOT token usage model is based on the common trend of many internationally successful blockchain projects.

TITLE
In 2017 and 2018, as part of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, it was talked about that Mongolia would be the transit country connecting Asia and Europe. At that time, we abbreviated the words: “One Belt, One Road” to OBORTECH, symbolizing the idea that Mongolians would build the infrastructure technology that connects Asia and Europe and lead the industry.
PRESENT
A total of 500 projects have been sent for the international Century Program by Microsoft, which aims to bring blockchain technology companies to market and connect them with investors. Thanks to the advantage of being an international team we were selected as one of the top six projects. Our team of international developers is in charge of this work.
As mentioned earlier, in addition to blockchain, we are working to introduce IoT smart sensor technology. IoT is a device that monitors the quality of transfer of any company. In this context, we started cooperating with the Danish company “Onomondo”. Using this company’s quality network we will be able to send and enter shipping progress information from anywhere in the world.

TEAM
Currently, the office has a staff of about 10 people. The system is being developed by an international team, while the token development is being led by Maxim Prishchepo, a Russian specialist in international crypto and blockchain systems.
THE FUTURE
First of all, we aim to trade our tokens on major international crypto exchanges. This will make us more well known in foreign countries. We will also focus on the global marketing of our system from next year. The presenting channels are ready. We just need to finish testing our system first, then we will be able to prepare our content based on the results and do our international marketing better.
RISK
It is impossible for everyone to understand the introduction of any innovation. Some people are too accustomed to the old ways, so you need to be careful to give them the right understanding. There are also different interpretations of tokens. Most people are focused on making a profit from cryptocurrencies. Because the industry is constantly volatile and unpredictable, it is important to look closely at the market opportunities it solves, at the technology and the project team behind it.
Today, people seem to conform with each other with great excitement and focus on the short-term rise in cryptocurrency prices. Cryptocurrencies that have grown too high in the short term are likely to fall sharply again, that is why anyone implementing a project in this area should be aware of their social responsibilities and provide basic knowledge on financial literacy and how to trade in the crypto market and evaluate good crypto projects.
