Introducing CivFarmOur brand-new staking and farming platform is live!CivFarm was born to let you earn rewards (Stone). What exactly does “totally decentralized” even mean?Several DeFi protocols are managed in centralized ways by project teams that carry out their vision without consideration for what users really want or potential areas of improvement for the ecosystem.Civilization is different.Every important decision is voted upon and agreed with consensus. Exactly ZERO tokens were privately minted by developers or earned outside public channels. All community members can contribute: investing, helping, building, addressing issues, identifying areas of improvement. Therefore…CivFarm is unique in DeFi. Uniquely decentralized.<blockquote>A group of people sharing a common goal can achieve the impossible.</blockquote><h3 id="the-initial-liquidity-event">The Initial Liquidity Event</h3>To reward early adopters of CivFarm, the launch is limited to just 6 pools with a high reward (APR%) and zero lock-in!Today, CivFarm offers the following six opportunities:<ol><li>Farm $0NE –$ETH (20 Token Points or TP)</li><li>Farm $0NE –$CIV (15 TP)</li><li>Farm $CIV — $ETH (10 TP)</li><li>Stake $0NE (10 TP)</li><li>Stake $CIV (10 TP)</li><li>Stake the NFT Elite Emerald 2000 (5 TP)</li></ol>Your % return will depend at all times on three factors:<ul><li>Token Points (TP): more TP → higher total reward to the pool</li><li>Total Value Locked (TVL): the total reward to the pool is split across all $ deposited in the pool, therefore lower TVL → higher APR</li><li>Dollar Value (DV): your % returns depend on the relative $ value of tokens, therefore higher $ value of Stone → higher APR.</li></ul>When future versions of CivFarm will introduce new pools, for example, the APR of each pool will be lower, as the rewards will be distributed among more pools. But the initial Liquidity Event is one of the most exciting opportunities for CivFarm: just 6 small pools to begin with! All internal to the Civilization Ecosystem. Zero private minting. Zero dilution.<h3 id="the-opportunities-of-stone-governance">The Opportunities of Stone Governance</h3>CivFarm is the only way to earn Stone tokens. Alternatively, you can only buy them on the open market.The Stone DAO adapts to the changing market environment in which the community operates: CivFarm will evolve hand in hand with the community and Stone (0NE) will manage its governance.Stone holders enjoy exclusive governance rights to the CivFarm platform: define the Token Points (“TP”), vote new features, and crucially elect which additional staking/LP pools available on the platform.New pools can be permanent or temporary. For example one exciting new feature we might add after the Liquidity Event, if the community will love and vote the idea, is time-based pools: the community votes periodically, to add external tokens or other NFT and farming pairs for a set period of time. Every vote can renew the list, e.g. every quarter.One thing is guaranteed: Stone holders will directly benefit from the licensing of all our technology, including CivFarm. Any time a new project will want to independently access our technology, their contribution will be used to buy and burn Stone. But first: let’s enjoy CivFarm and its exciting Liquidity Event!Look forward to feedback and questions from our open and transparent community. #WeAreCIV<h3 id="how-to-stake-oncivfarm">How to stake on&nbsp;CivFarm</h3><h4>Chose a Staking&nbsp;Pool</h4>Once opening Civilization’s dApp and arriving at CivFarm, you will see a number of staking pools available on the platform. They initially include the following:<ul><li>$CIV (Civilization) Token</li><li>$0NE (Stone) Token</li><li>$0NE/$ETH LP</li><li>$0NE/$CIV LP</li><li>$ETH/$CIV LP</li><li>$NFT Elite Emerald</li></ul>Each has information displayed for you to view. “Deposited amount” denotes the total number of tokens deposited into the pool. “Yield” denotes your yield from the pool as of the time checked. “TVL” denotes the total value locked in the pool at that time (the deposited amount times the market price of that asset at that given moment). “APR” denotes the annual percent return.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/6f8fdf9c8e714c009745ead3f6d103bb.png">Once deciding the pool you want to stake your assets in, select the “+” icon to the right of it. This opens the pool up and gives you a little more information about it (particularly in terms of how it relates to your individual wallet, if you already have assets deposited in it).<h4>Deposit your&nbsp;asset</h4>From the identified pool interface, you can proceed to deposit your tokens using the “Approve to stake” button. Doing so will trigger a prompt by the network seeking approval the first time you attempt to deposit assets into the pool. Approval is essentially you authorizing CivFarm to operate on your behalf with regards to the deposits you make into the pool.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/3a7596339b894da99e335022c03278c9.png">To complete the approval, you will be asked to confirm it with your wallet. Once you have, CivFarm will allow you to proceed with the deposit. To start do such, select the “Deposit” button.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/4c54230503cf43dd86a2a62bebc0baff.png">Once selected, you can enter the amount you want to deposit using the dedicated pop-up.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/1763179251cc493ba6e119279a3675c0.png">Next, enter the amount and select “Deposit” to proceed with the deposit. You will then be prompted to confirm the transaction with your wallet.Once you have, your tokens will be moved from your wallet balance to the “Deposited Amount” section. At this point, CivFarm will begin disbursing $0NE to you based on the APR of the selected pool.Each time you make a withdrawal, the system will automatically proceed to withdraw the $0NE accrued up to that point and they will immediately be visible in your wallet.<h4>Claim your&nbsp;rewards</h4>From the selected pool interface, you can proceed to withdraw rewards accrued up to that point by selecting the “Claim Rewards” button.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/a773dd3abcae448d84246c96b3eeb141.png">Once selected, you will be redirected to your wallet. Approving the transaction is necessary in order to proceed. Once completed, the tokens accrued will be automatically transferred to your wallet.<h4>Withdraw your&nbsp;assets</h4>From the identified pool interface, you can withdraw your tokens using the “Approve to withdraw” button. This type of approval will only be requested once by the network. It authorizes CivFarm to operate on your behalf with regards to withdrawals of your assets.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/7f36b3fd890c434a8a815754ef209b2f.png">To complete the approval, you will be asked to confirm it with your wallet. Once completed, CivFarm will allow you to proceed with the withdrawal. To initiate it, select the “Withdraw” button.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/8e9062f132f5404685363d664ddc1df4.png">Once you select the “Withdraw” button, you can enter the amount to be withdrawn using the prompt that pops up.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/4e17cc3825fc493598c15ba76db3b098.png">Enter the amount and select “Withdraw” to complete the action.At this point you will be prompted to confirm with your wallet. Once finished, you will see your tokens move from the “Deposited Amount” section to your wallet balance section.Each time you withdraw, CivFarm automatically proceeds to withdraw the rewards accrued up to that point, making them immediately available in your wallet.<h4>Import your token on&nbsp;wallet</h4>To simplify the display of the tokens in each pool within its wallet, the “Import tokens” function within the platform may be used.From the identified pool interface, you can import your tokens in your wallet using the “Import Token” button.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/4c6f888abb634870896a45e1497f1510.png">This type of action will allow you just to display your LP token in your wallet. No gas fees payment is requested to perform this action.These processes apply to all staking pools available on CivFarm.<h3 id="how-create-an-lp-token-onuniswap">How create an LP Token on&nbsp;Uniswap</h3>The following links will take you directly to the Uniswap v2 liquidity pool of your interest; just few clicks to add your capital to the liquidity pool!To add liquidity:<ul><li><a href="https://app.uniswap.org/#/add/v2/ETH/0x73A83269b9bbAFC427E76Be0A2C1a1db2a26f4C2?chain=mainnet" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">0NE-ETH</a> pair</li><li><a href="https://app.uniswap.org/#/add/v2/0x37fE0f067FA808fFBDd12891C0858532CFE7361d/0x73A83269b9bbAFC427E76Be0A2C1a1db2a26f4C2?chain=mainnet" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">0NE-CIV</a> pair</li><li><a href="https://app.uniswap.org/#/add/v2/ETH/0x37fE0f067FA808fFBDd12891C0858532CFE7361d?chain=mainnet" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CIV-ETH</a> pair</li></ul>The process outlined below shows how to provide liquidity on Uniswap for the ETH/CIV pair; this can be replicated for any of the token pairs available on the platform.<ol><li>Click ‘Connect to a wallet’ in the top right corner. You will be prompted to unlock your Metamask wallet.</li></ol><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/42efa1106b924cc28f875052e493881f.png">2. Input the amount you want to add to the pool. You can specify the amount either in $CIV or $ETH. Uniswap will automatically calculate the other token at the pool’s current rate (Note that Uniswap treats $ETH and $WETH as the same, so it doesn’t matter which you actually see).<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/1500c976e2ce463589b4b30e16b22c36.png">3. Click “Approve CIV”<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/0ab6db90236846789d8dc0219181511a.png">You will be asked to approve the Ethereum transaction and pay the gas fee<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/4569400013314dadb5ad3dab4fba5d25.png">4. Finally, click ‘Supply’ to deposit your capital to the pool. Once the transaction completes, you will receive your LP tokens in your wallet.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/1a4d8b73b13946778411bba3b2c56fda.png">And that’s it!
