MultiversX is a blockchain protocol that seeks to offer extremely fast transaction speeds by using sharding. The project describes itself as a technology ecosystem for the new internet, which includes fintech, decentralized finance and the Internet of Things. Its smart contracts execution platform is reportedly capable of 15,000 transactions per second, six-second latency and a $0.001 transaction cost.

MultiversX rewards the community and active participants with EGLD tokens. EGLD, or Electronic Gold, is MultiversX's native token. It acts as a store of value currency to pay for network usage. The coin also serves as a medium of exchange between platform users and validators. Users pay transaction fees in EGLD and validators provide services.

EGLD allows developers to deploy smart contracts, protocols, and dApps on the platform. It empowers participants to perform any network action. Through staking and validation rewards, as well as transaction fees, EGLD manages the MultiversX network. Plus, EGLD is endowed with the functionality of a governance token, so its holders can vote on network decisions.

MultiversX was first announced in August 2019, and its mainnet went live in July 2020.

Irys is a Layer 1 datachain that unifies onchain data storage and smart contract execution into a single network. Billed as a "network of decentralized markets and communities," district0x is a platform that allows users to easily launch their own decentralized platforms which are governed by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) structure.

Each of these platforms is termed a “district” and can be launched free of charge on the district0x. The ecosystem is powered by the custom d0xINFRA framework, which provides a set of basic smart contracts and libraries users can use when building out their districts — enabling a wide array of potential use-cases.

The native token of the district0x ecosystem is DNT — an ERC-20 utility token that is mostly used for community governance.

The platform uses a combination of three main technologies: Ethereum, Aragon and the InterPlanetary File Transfer Protocol (IPFS).

The Ethereum blockchain is used for hosting districts, whereas Aragon is used as the governance layer for the district0x network, allowing DNT stakers to benefit from governance rights and help shape the development and operation of their chosen districts. Guild of Guardians is a multiplayer fantasy action RPG on Immutable X. The game’s vision is to become the world’s most popular RPG, where players can assemble a set of Guardians and earn rewards in the process. By combining fun gameplay that will be played on mobile with play-to-earn mechanics, Guild of Guardians aims to build an in-game economy that will be compelling for players to participate in.

The game will initially be accessible on iOS and Android and will be available in 2022. The gameplay revolves around training a team of heroes to collect resources and engage in challenges. The collected resources will be issued and distributed in Gems, the game’s in-game currency that can be redeemed for real money, spent on minting new assets or secondary purchases, and used to vote on game decisions. 20% of all primary and secondary trading fees must be paid for in Gems.

Since mid-2020, Guild of Guardians has racked up over 220,000 followers across different social media channels in its short time of existence. It also sold out its first NFT Founder sale, netting over $4.6 million that will be used for game development.
