After losing the important psychological level at $30,000, Bitcoin (<a href="https://finbold.com/cryptocurrency/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BTC</a>) has been struggling to regain it, continuously making choppy <a href="https://finbold.com/guide/chart-patterns/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">chart patterns</a> underneath. However, some <a href="https://finbold.com/cryptocurrencies/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency</a> analysts see this as a good sign and an indicator of a smoother ride toward a new all-time high (ATH) in 2023.Indeed, <a href="https://finbold.com/topic/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> spending a lot of time under the $30,000 mark before the next rally suggests less choppy movements around $40,000, $50,000, and even $60,000, with the possibility of an ATH this year, as observed in a <a href="https://twitter.com/CredibleCrypto/status/1651321880890974208" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">tweet</a> shared by <a href="https://finbold.com/guides/cryptocurrency/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto</a> analyst CrediBULL Crypto on April 26.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/58c9340a7233472aafff108e3500a9a6.PNG" /><h2 id="header-0">Bitcoin’s choppy price</h2>As it happens, Bitcoin breached the $30,000 barrier on April 11, remaining in that zone until April 19, when it started the descend to $27,000. On April 26, it seemed to be moving toward breaking the resistance again, as it briefly reached the price of $29,970, only to drop to $27,942 in a single hour but improving later on.Meanwhile, the flagship decentralized finance (<a href="https://finbold.com/guide/liquidity-mining-definition/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DeFi</a>) asset was at press time changing hands at the price of $29,018, up 0.47% in the last 24 hours, as well as recording an equally modest increase of 0.64% across the previous seven days, adding up to the 6.75% gain on its monthly chart, as per data retrieved on April 27.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/1b0d7025a8e44b268de6302b163659d1.png" />Bitcoin 7-day price chart. Gox and the United States government had moved large amounts of Bitcoin, as <a href="https://twitter.com/tier10k/status/1651317391626846214" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">shared</a> by Twitter user db.
