On March 2nd and 3rd of 2022, we completed a successful IDO (Initial DEX Offering) and TGE (Token Generation Event) in collaboration with our <a href="https://outerringmmo.com/partners/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">11 launchpad partners</a>. A year later, we are happy to announce that the linear vesting of the IDO, Seed, and Private Sale has been completed putting 3,4 billion GQ in circulation.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/478e32a1114d4dc782b33dd4f5746fa4.png">Over this year GQ has registered over 750,000 transactions, resulting in almost 24,000 wallets holding our Governance token. Also, half of the Angel phase has been completed, meaning there are only 150M GQ to be distributed among private investors, which is less than 4% of the current circulating supply. Furthermore, 25% of this supply is locked by holders in our Staking Pool.<h2 id="header-0">Digging into the GQ tokenomics</h2>To analyze the tokenomics of Galactic Quadrant, we must first consider that the token is designed to become deflationary, meaning that emission will always be proportionally smaller to the amount burned by completing daily tasks inside all games within the ecosystem.Outer Ring is already integrating a burning mechanism in their Public Land Auctions starting on March 15th. Also, Maniac Panda Games, the game studio developing this MMORPG, has announced the integration of GQ in two new games, Racerloop and Cryptoduels, meaning more usability and a higher burning volume.<react-video url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT9_qcXfnZw"></react-video>This ecosystem growth comes together with the team´s compromise on building a healthy ecosystem. All team tokens are locked for two more years and will be distributed in a 24-month linear vesting. Also, the treasury holds 424M GQ, 20% of the total distributed during the next 5 years.As mentioned countless times, the project has completed 3 funding rounds for 15M$ and does not need to sell GQ tokens against the market.<h2 id="header-1">What does the future hold?</h2>Galactic Quadrant is rapidly gaining space inside the blockchain ecosystem, combining for almost 20k watchlists between <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/es/currencies/outer-ring-mmo-gq/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinmarketcap</a> and Coingecko. During the past month, it has placed second in market volume among games registered in DappRadar, coming in only behind Axie Infinity. It has also surpassed tokens from established projects such as The Sandbox. In addition, it ranked first in DEXTools Hot Pairs.In the following months, we will be working to make the token more accessible with new CEX listings and opening new pairs in the DEX as Apeswap and Biswap.
