We are thrilled to report that 2022 was a successful year for the Stratis Decentralised Accelerator,&nbsp; with funded projects in Tooling, Defi, NFTs and the Metaverse all utilising Stratis Technologies. It was also fantastic seeing several mainnet releases last year,&nbsp; notably from Opdex, My XR Gallery, CoinVault and Stratisphere.Ahead of what we are sure will be a very exciting year, we thought we’d outline some of the major events in the SDA pipeline from 2022 and some of the major events we expect to see in 2023.<h2 id="header-0">Dawn of Ships from Astroverse Club</h2>Dawn of Ships is a project from London-based indie studio Red Ego Games. Powered by the Stratis Blockchain, this idle roleplay experience allows players to assume control of pirate ships and battle against other players, all the while gaining NFTs as they progress. These NFTs can then be sold on the Stratisphere platform, making the game a Play 2 Earn model. Players can enjoy a range of features, including ship battles, exploration, and joining clans which offer unique advantages.The last couple of months saw Dawn of Ships release its first range of utility NFTs. These NFTs power up players’ ships and offer reward bonuses, creating an exciting new dynamic to gameplay when combined with existing crew NFT offerings. Players participate in multiple levels which feature challenging ‘Dashes’, with the apex of this journey being the Corgi House.Each dash costs Corgi coins ($CC) which are added to the Game Rewards wallet for future players. These dashes offer the player an opportunity to win coins, and should they reach the Corgi House these coins will be added to their Stratis Wallet and become tradeable on Opdex. Corgi Dash NFTs are also available, both for aesthetic purposes and in-game use, with some ultra-rare NFTs even offering players extra lives and an opportunity for increased awardsCorgi Dash had a busy end to 2022, launching its website and revealing its Stratis blockchain integration timeline. The My XR Gallery features NFT storefronts from the likes of Punk Rock photographer Andy Rosen and the Polycarbon store, which users can access through the unique Sky Dream Mall metaverse experience. My XR world allows users to create their own 3D VR Gallery to share NFT collections with the world. My XR Gallery is powered by Stratis, allowing for a unique and customisable user experience.We saw a number of stellar updates in 2022 for My XR Gallery, including their mainnet release, which we recommend you checkout for yourself (<a href="https://www.myxrgallery.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.myxrgallery.com</a>/). They have also announced that they are developing exciting new features which will allow users to make the most of the metaverse, these include new 360 spheres and virtual hang out spaces. My XR Gallery is planning for an eagerly anticipated V2 release in July 2022, so be sure to look out for this. Previously, developers had to use Visual Studio to write C# code and then a command tool to validate and compile this code before using a wallet for deployment. This change significantly improves developers’ experiences, which should free them up to focus on what matters, such as enhancing users expereiences. It also serves the long-term security of the blockchain by ensuring that smart contracts remain as protected as possible while maintaining an optimised user experience.We expect releases from Stratis DevEx every month, with the project being completed in November 2023. Featuring a range of games, including the titles Cops Clash, Hurdle Hop, Tunnel Trouble and Counting Snakes. Stratis’ tech allows Hashbattle to offer rewards. Players can expect a dedicated in-game economy and NFT’s, which give access to interesting features. Users can choose between games of varying costs in Cirrus token, and have the opportunity to win various amounts based on the fee they pay for entry. This provides an exciting and scalable P2E experience for users.There were several updates for Hashbattle in 2022, including new games and work on their 10K Deadwarriors NFTs. NFTs form a core part of the experience, with player avatars being NTS which increase in power the more in-game experience they gain. By combining trivia and strategy, players have fun while unlocking different characters, which are digitalised as real world NFTs.Trivia Legends had an exciting 2022, with the Beta released on the Android store, making it available to more users. It does this through a content registration service that uses blockchain, timestamps and digital fingerprints to secure copyright ownership. Therefore, less intermediaries are required by letting buyers and sellers work directly with each other. This creates a marketplace where everyone can be sure of the source and integrity of the IP being shared or traded, making for an environment of improved trust in the creative process.
