OKX is jumping into the trend of meme coins by listing two hot new tokens on its platform: Dogwifhat (WIF) and Cat in a Dog’s World (MEW), both running on the Solana blockchain.

As per their <a href="https://www.okx.com/help/okx-to-list-wif-mew-for-spot-trading" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" data-wpel-link="external">announcement</a>, trading for WIF kicked off at 9:00 am UTC on April 15, closely followed by MEW. Users can now deposit WIF and MEW tokens on OKX to trade them against Tether (USDT). Withdrawals for both tokens will open at 10:00 am UTC on April 16. 
These memecoins have been seeing a surge in popularity, with millions of dollars traded daily. Riding on the Solana network’s success, they have outpaced other networks like Ethereum and Avalanche.

At the time of writing, WIF was priced at around $3, showing a rise of approximately 9% within the last 24 hours. 
According to CoinGecko data, MEW is currently priced at $0.0054, marking an 84% increase in the last 24 hours.
