Ahead of the eagerly awaited Bitcoin Halving, Tether is close to finalizing a massive $500 million investment in Bitcoin mining. Tether aims to utilize clean energy sources to minimize the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining operations. Ardoino's announcement comes as the Bitcoin community prepares for the halving event, which will see miner rewards halved from 6.25 to 3.125 BTC. This protocol change is expected to affect mining profitability and possibly fuel a bullish trend in Bitcoin’s market value.
