<p>Users can also enjoy fast finality when transacting within the rollup and, in most cases, claim their funds on the Ethereum mainnet within 30-60 minutes.</p>



<p>The bridge supports popular assets, including ERC-20 and ERC-777 tokens, and does not require mapping before bridging tokens. This development is a significant improvement over other chains, which often necessitate time-consuming token mapping processes.</p>

<p>Ethereum co-creator Vitalik Buterin performed the symbolic first transaction on the Mainnet Beta, stating, &#8220;I&#8217;m happy to see Ethereum Layer 2 scaling becoming fully real, and not just something that&#8217;s theoretical.&#8221;</p>
