So now you will be able to buy gold on-chain, meaning on the blockchain, with your cryptocurrency. As you know, Tether places one US dollar as backing for each USDT. The same applies for gold. For each Tether Gold, one gold bar is placed. So the gold you buy has a backing. You no longer need to go to a jeweler or a bank. 🏦❌➡📲
