Charles Hoskinson explained that Midnight won’t compete for $XMR or $ZEC communities, since they represent a distinct demographic already deeply committed to privacy.


Instead, Midnight is designed for the billions who don’t yet realize they need privacy. The goal is to make privacy the default seamless and automatic rather than something users must toggle on and off like a light switch.
