🚀🛡 CL8Y Bridge Update: Built for Failure, Proven Under Stress
Ongoing IBC issues on Terra Classic have caused stalled packets and timeout refunds failing at the chain level.
CL8Y Bridge is fully unaffected.
CL8Y Bridge does not rely on fragile validator-side refunds or automatic timeout mechanisms. Every transfer is tracked end-to-end, actively verified by the operator, and only finalised when all safety conditions are met.
What this means for users:
✅ Zero silent fund loss
✅ No reliance on broken IBC refund logic
✅ Delayed or failed transfers stay fully traceable and recoverable
✅ Worst case: transfers pause, state and accounting never break
Over recent weeks, we’ve been deliberately stress-testing these exact failure scenarios. Our entire end-to-end testing framework has been rebuilt in Rust, uncovering and fixing real-world edge cases such as delayed packets and operator activation issues.
CL8Y is 100% open source and 100% transparent. Anyone can audit the code, follow development, or contribute directly.
Bridges are where the most value, and the most attacks, concentrate.
CL8Y Bridge is engineered to assume failure, contain it, and protect user funds before value is ever extracted
