CL8Y Bridge Status Update

Ceramic has upgraded the testing framework for Terra Classic ↔ EVM transfers as part of our ongoing commitment to reliability and transparency.

What was previously script-based testing has now been fully rebuilt in Rust, following the discovery of several unexpected edge cases during development. This upgrade allows for much faster testing on devnet, earlier detection of issues, and quicker fixes, resulting in a more stable and robust bridge.

CL8Y Bridge is 100% transparent and 100% open-source. All development, testing, and progress can be reviewed publicly, and anyone who wants to contribute is welcome to do so.

CL8Y Bridge Status Update

More issues have been identified and resolved during end-to-end testing for the CL8Y Bridge, specifically around how the operator detects and activates cross-chain transfers. Catching these issues at the E2E stage is exactly why we’ve invested heavily in deeper testing.

Building a secure multichain bridge is significantly more complex than the CMM, orders of magnitude more, so this level of testing and iteration is essential to getting it right.

As always, development remains fully open-source and transparent, with all fixes and progress visible to the community.

Steady progress, stronger foundations 🚀
