Ceramic introduces the Market Module (CMM), a rules-based system designed to process USTC debt rather than force a repeg.
USTC entering CMM is locked and removed from circulation, then used as collateral to acquire yield-bearing assets. Over time, USTC is converted into USTR, not redeemed.
USTR represents processed USTC debt and is the asset that can be staked, used within the system, or later swapped to UST1 when conditions allow.
A 100-day bootstrap phase establishes system mechanics before broader price discovery.
Key point: this is debt processing, not a
$1 promise.
