$SOL’s Drift v3: On-Chain Trading Goes 10x Faster
Solana-based perpetuals platform Drift has just launched v3, bringing a major performance upgrade to DeFi trading. The team promises that about 85% of market orders will now fill in under half a second, and liquidity improvements should cut slippage on large trades to around 0.02%.
Key highlights:
- Speed boost: 10x faster trade execution with a rebuilt backend.
- Improved tools: Take-profit and stop-loss orders now update almost instantly within a single Solana slot.
- UI refresh: Cleaner portfolio pages, simpler borrow-lend sections, and clearer account displays.
